My brain damage a blessing and a curse

My brain works but it processes slowly and I function or react slowly physically compared to before. I was told by a doctor who took a cat-scan of my brain that I have brain damage. In fact they said I had the brain of an 80 year old. At the time I was 30. The slow processing is actually a curse and a blessing as I typically have time to think through my thoughts before it gets to my brain as a complete physical speech or writing.
