Where I got My Critical thinking and values from growing up

Someone was asking on here where did you get your values growing up. I got mine from the Boys and Girls Club, Catholic School. I learned teamwork and sharing at club. I learned same at catholic school. it taught me everyone is god's child, love your neighbor etc care for poor. It also taught me to critically think through an opposite effect. I read bible stories and other doctrine and it made me question God, religion and spirituality..so i learned that authority tells you a story and you can think for yourself when it doesn't make sense to you, like Jesus did. I got more values through my older sister and younger brother and parents of course. My sister went to college and i learned through her, i leanred to share a room with my younger brother and to care for those smaller than you. Plus everything that a family brings individually and collectively to the table. I think i got discipline from sports such.  I believe some of my values also were passed on through ancestral spirit or programming. Like from past lives or something. There were innate feelings I had growing up. Don't know what influence California had like visiting museums and other natural sites and cultural events had
